  • On this date, many people from our community came to the Bantam Firehouse to learn about the Shepaug Tunnel system underneath Bantam Lake. An informative slideshow was presented by Ed Dorsett, David Hoffman, and the Morris Historical Society.

Tornado Program - 7/21/24

On this date, 50 people from around our community came together at the Bantam Cinema Arts Center and shared their stories from the destructive tornado that hit our town on July 10th, 1989.

Tunnel Program - 5/1/25

On this date, many people from our community came to the Bantam Firehouse to learn about the Shepaug Tunnel system underneath Bantam Lake. An informative slideshow was presented by Ed Dorsett, David Hoffman, and the Morris Historical Society.
